Objective of Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship

The scholarship program was established with the goal of supporting females from underrepresented backgrounds. Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship: –

  • The Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship is awarded to female students who are members of minority groups, including Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Parsis
  • For this scholarship, only minority female students in grades 9 through 12 are eligible to apply.
  • The student must receive at least 50% on the qualifying exam, or an equal grade, to be eligible for this scholarship program
  • The school needs to confirm the student’s credentials. The student must complete the school verification form, have the principal sign it, and have their stamp and signature on the photo.
  • The family’s yearly income shouldn’t be more than Rs 2 lakh.
  • The authority is not required to receive tangible copies.
  • A family is only allowed to apply for two scholarships.
  • International study is not permitted with this award.
  • There are no fees associated with submitting the application form from the students.

 Terms And Conditions

The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to apply for this scholarship:-

  • According to the minority population in each state and union territory, as per the 2011 census, the scholarship amount will be distributed.
  • The authorities may occasionally modify any rules.
  • The scholarship cannot be reinstated after termination due to some reason.
  • The department will revoke the scholarship and retrieve the awarded sum if the student gives incorrect information.
  • The scholarship will be canceled if there is a lapse in academic performance.
  • A student is not eligible to apply for Begum Hazrat Mahal if they already receive a federal or state government scholarship.
  • All applicants will be given precedence if they fall within the lowest income bracket.

  • a current photo of the applicant that fits in a passport.
  • Form for verifying a school that the institute’s principal has signed.
  • The Principal attested to the most recent exam score report.
  • Income certificates for parents or guardians produced by an appropriate authority and acknowledged by the state or UT administration.
  • The applicant’s self-declaration of a minority community certificate.
  • a self-certified copy of the first page of the applicant’s bank or postal account passbook (either a single account or a joint account with her parents).
  • a copy of the applicant’s Aadhaar card (if an Aadhaar card is unavailable, applicants may submit a birth certificate, BPL card, or Rashan card instead).
