GATE Syllabus and Exam Pattern

GATE Syllabus 2024: Every year, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is given to engineering students in order to determine their eligibility for admission to the M.E./M.Tech./Ph.D. programs at the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs as well as for high-profile positions in PSUs. The GATE Exam Pattern and Syllabus are nearly constant from year to year.

The exam pattern will be updated here if there are any changes. The GATE Exam Pattern includes all pertinent details, including the total number of questions, the number of sections, the kinds of questions presented, and the exam’s grading method.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

The GATE exam has a 3-hour time limit and a 100-point maximum. To aid you guys in your preparation, we’ll provide comprehensive information regarding the GATE Syllabus and Exam Patterns in this article. Learn more about the GATE 2024 Paper Pattern by continuing to read. The GATE exam is administered nationwide each year by one of the IITs; this year, it is being administered by IISc Bangalore. Three portions make up the exam, the first of which includes questions about engineering, mathematics, and general aptitude (MCQ). Candidates must select one of the 30 subjects from the table below for the questions with numerical answers. The paragraphs below provide a full outline of the syllabus and the exam format.

What is the Syllabus of GATE Exam?

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam’s syllabus can change a little bit from year to year, but it typically includes a broad range of engineering and science disciplines. Depending on the exam you select from among the several engineering and science subjects for which GATE is held, the syllabus may change. The common subjects covered in GATE are listed below in general:
