RRB NTPC conducts a skill test for candidates who opted for specific job roles. There are two types of skill tests required, in which a candidate has to take one of them.

RRB NTPC CBAT Syllabus
For applicants who selected the positions of Traffic Assistant and Station Master, RRB conducts the NTPC CBAT. A candidate must obtain a T-score of 42 points across all test batteries in order to pass the computer-based aptitude exam, or CBAT. There will be six exams with various test batteries. The required minimum score for any category is not lowered. Negative evaluations are not permitted during CBAT. The CBAT syllabus covers a variety of topics, including the personality test, attention selectivity test, spatial scanning test, and intelligence test.
- Intelligence Test: A Candidate has to find one different problem from the five problems given there.
- Selective Attentive Test: In this test, A candidate needs to focus on a particular object and ignore irrelevant information
- Personality Test: A candidate will be asked a few questions to check their interest and personality. After the test, a score will generate.
- Information Ordering: In this test, A candidate needs to arrange things in order.
RRB NTPC Typing Test Syllabus
Only candidates who choose jobs like clerk, assistance, account, or typist must take the typing test. The candidate’s typing accuracy and speed are assessed during the test, which is administered in both Hindi and English.
