Students who meet the requirements listed below may apply. For at least the previous six months, one or both of the candidates’ parents must have been employed by Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese and Chrome Mines (IOMC), Limestone and Dolomite Mines (LSDM), or Cine. Except for movie industry employees, the family’s total monthly income cannot surpass INR 10,000 from any source. Instead, it must be at most INR 8,000 per month or INR 1,00,000 annually.

Post Matric Scholarship Benefits:

The selected scholar will receive the following benefits:

• Girls studying in PUC I & II will receive Rs 2,440
• Boys looking in PUC I & II will receive Rs 2,000
• Girls and boys enrolled in ITI courses will receive Rs 10,000
• Girls and boys enrolled in Degree courses will receive Rs 3,000
• Girls and boys enrolled in Professional courses such as BE/MBBS/BSc-Agri. Will receive Rs 15,000

Documents Required for Post Matric Scholarship for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers:

The following documents are required:

• Photograph of the candidate
• Copy of the identity card of the worker (Form B Register Number in case of Mineworkers)
• Copy of front page of Bank Pass Book or Cancelled Cheque (which should contain details of the account holder/beneficiary)
• Passing Certificate/Mark sheet of the previous academic year
• Income Certificate of the parent issued by the Revenue Authority

Terms and Conditions (Rules)

• The department will only give This scholarship will be awarded if the candidate already has another scholarship or stipend.
• Students enrolled in correspondence courses are not eligible to apply.
• If more than one child from the same family is applying, each child must have a bank account and cellphone number.
• The applicant should be the first account holder while opening a joint account.
• The candidate must have completed the most recent qualifying exam on their first try.
• Students who are doing any correspondence courses are not eligible.
• Candidates must be regular students for studies at accredited universities in India, including medical, engineering, and agricultural programs.

However, the following student groups are ineligible for the program’s scholarship awards:

• Students who are enrolled in the same educational level in a new subject after completing one stage of their education are not eligible.
• For instance, a B.Sc. after a B.Com., a B.Com. After an M.A., or an M.A. in one topic, after an M.A. in another.
• Students who pursue higher education in a different professional field after completing their undergraduate studies in one, such as B.T. or B.Ed., are not eligible.
• The educational facility must be owned by or recognized by the government.
• Students with other scholarships or stipends will not be eligible for funding under this program.
