Age Limit

• Age limitation as on 16 January 2024
• Minimum age limitation for Candidates to apply ECIL Jobs 2024 application: 18 Years
• Maximum age limit for Candidates to apply ECIL Jobs 2024 application: 30 Years
• Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Selection Procedure

• Shortlisting
  • i) Process of short listing: Candidates shall be shortlisted trade wise, category wise as per the data provided in the on-line application in the order of merit (marks obtained in ITI) and relevant experience as detailed below in the ratio of 1:4. In case of a tie, the candidates with higher marks in ITI shall be considered. In case of a further tie, the candidate with earlier date of Birth shall be considered.
• Document verification.
  • (ii) Documents verification: Upon preliminary short listing of the candidates, Provisional Offer Letters will be issued to the candidates through an email correspondence and will be called for the Document verification at Hyderabad. There will be no separate communication to any candidate on their nonselection at any stage.
  • The following documents shall be required to be produced in original along with a set of self-attested photo copies for verification:
  • a. On-line application form
  • b. 10th Class certificate or School leaving certificate as Date of birth proof;
  • c. Identity proof (Govt. issued only; Aadhar, Passport etc.) & recent p/p size color photograph;
  • d. Documents in support of ITI Qualification (Certificate & Marks sheet);
  • e. One year apprenticeship certificate;
  • f. Experience certificates from previous employment, clearly mentioning the duration (from & to dates) and post held. If candidate is currently in employment, a copy of Appointment Order & recent pay slips are to be produced without fail. Work experience indicated without supporting documents shall not be considered and is liable to be excluded while calculating the post-qualification tenure;
  • g. Category certificate (EWS/OBC/SC/ST), if applying against such reserved posts; In case of OBC, (not older than a year from date of selection) with mandate mention of ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause.
  • h. A valid certificate with respect to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD); Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen; Relevant certificate, if claiming age relaxation as candidate from J&K; if any.
    i. Police Verification Certificate, not older than three months from the date of document verification.
