The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY) program focuses on rural children between 15 and 35. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY) is specially created for rural children between 15 and 35. The important Features of this scheme are as follows:

 

● enables access to the benefits for the underprivileged and poor sectors of the rural Indian populace.

● Market-driven free skill training that is provided to beneficiaries at no cost. 

● The program requires that socially marginalized groups, including SC/ST, minorities, and women, be included. 

● Also stressed is career advancement. 

● Networking, migration, and post-placement assistance are all covered. 

● The program guarantees that at least 75% of trained students are placed.  

● Candidates receive training that is focused on the market. 

● Under the HIMAYAT Scheme and the ROSHINI Scheme, destitute rural youths from the Union territory of J&K and North-East and Left-Wing Extremist districts receive more attention. 

● Candidates who are SC/ST and above 45 are eligible for 50% of the allocated funds.

● Minority groups will receive 15% of the fund.

● For candidates with disabilities, 3% are set aside.

● 33% of candidates for any training program of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY) should be women.

Eligibility of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY)

  • The qualifying candidate must fall within the age range of 15 to 35.
  • Women from rural regions can apply up to the age of 45.
  • Disability applicants must be at least 45 years old.
  • Transgender individuals and other distinct groupings
  • Tribal communities that are particularly vulnerable are also eligible for the project.

Registering under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY)

 

  • A candidate must enrol with the Gram Panchayat or the Gram Rozgar Sewak. They then receive a recommendation for the closest training facility.
  • A candidate should get all the information about the trade and the training facility after contacting the local training facility.
  • Finally, the candidate should fill out the registration form on the Kaushal Panjee official website at https://kaushalpanjee.nic.in/.
