CSIR UGC NET Dec – Education Qualification
- Candidates should have possess M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/ General-EWS and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
- B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS; 50% (without rounding off) marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
- B.E./ B.S./ B.Tech./ B.Pharma/ MBBS final year/result awaited candidates are eligible to apply for fellowship only. These candidates will not be eligible for Lectureship/Assistant professor. B.Sc. (Hons.) final year/Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply.

- A single paper MCQ-based test will be held.
- The Test Booklet will be printed in Hindi & English Version.
- A total of 180 questions will be asked.
- The Test Booklet shall be divided into three parts, (A, B & C).
- The duration of the exam would be 3hrs.
- Negative marking shall be applicable as per the subject-wise scheme of the Exam.
- Candidates can give no grievances/representation with regard to Answer Key(s) after the declaration of result.
